FEES & REBATES
NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to support people living with a permanent and significant disability. Tel Speech Pathology welcomes both Plan-Managed and Self-Managed NDIS participants and can support you in working towards your personal NDIS goals.
*Please note that a Service Agreement must be completed before therapy services commence.
Standard NDIS Appointment (70 minutes)

50 minutes of direct, face-to-face therapy

20 minutes for non-face-to-face services, including clinical documentation and therapy planning
Fees

Standard appointment: approximately $226.32 (based on the current NDIS rate of $193.99/hour)

Non-labour travel costs: $1.00 per kilometre travelled

Therapist travel time: $97.00/hour (based on half of the current hourly rate)
Travel costs vary depending on the location of your appointment. Your Speech Pathologist can provide an estimate before services begin.
Telehealth appointments are also available.
PRIVATE
Private clients may be eligible for rebates through Medicare or their private health insurance.
If you think you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate, please speak with your GP. A valid referral is required before Medicare rebates can be claimed.
If you have private health insurance with extras cover, we recommend checking with your provider to confirm whether speech pathology services are included. We can provide a receipt for you to submit your claim online or directly with your health fund.
